Purpose

Opportunity Kill Criteria defines when an affiliate opportunity should be rejected, paused, or moved to the Offer Graveyard.

This page protects MWMS from wasting time, money, and testing bandwidth on weak or risky offers.

Kill Criteria

Reject or stop the opportunity if:

  • tracking cannot be confirmed
  • payout does not support paid traffic
  • compliance risk is too high
  • offer claims are exaggerated or unsafe
  • funnel is confusing or broken
  • vendor appears unreliable
  • customer demand is weak
  • product promise is unclear
  • traffic restrictions block the intended channel
  • refund or chargeback risk appears high

Soft Kill Signals

Pause or hold the opportunity if:

  • evidence is incomplete
  • market demand is unclear
  • payout may be too low
  • tracking needs more testing
  • funnel quality is questionable
  • creative angles are weak
  • offer timing is not right

Decision Options

Choose one:

  • Reject
  • Hold For Later
  • Needs More Research
  • Move To Graveyard
  • Reassess Later

Graveyard Notes

If moved to Graveyard, record:

  • reason for rejection
  • main risk
  • date rejected
  • whether it can be reconsidered later
  • conditions required for reconsideration
